All Pupils

Note that this page has effectively been superseded by the Discussion Board, so please register there, try to make use of it and remember that teacher and pupils have a shared responsibility for progress. We can't do it all in class and there's always something you can be doing at home (eg performing/composition for those who can and literacy/listening revision for everyone) whether or not set as formal homework.

For interest, here are the 'schedules' agreed with last year's (2009–10) classes:

• All performing choices made/under way by October holiday.
• Composition for submission taking shape/under control by October holiday.
• Any remaining Int 2 Listening Concepts finished by Christmas.
• Int 1 Orchestra/Blues/Scotland revision by October.
• Int 1 Forms, Styles and Techniques revision by Christmas.
• Literacy – ongoing.

S5–6

• All performing choices made/approved by SQA (where applicable)/under way by October holiday.
• Anything for approval to Mr D by end August.
• First composition for submission taking shape/under control by October holiday.
• Second composition (where applicable) likewise by Christmas.
• Renaissance and Baroque periods by October.
• Classical and Romantic periods by Christmas.
• Literacy and Comparative Study (where applicable) – ongoing.
